- 黒い kuroi black
ベンさんは黒いシャツを着ています。
Ben-san wa kuroi shatsu o kite imasu.
Ben wears a black shirt.
- 白い shiroi white
彼女は白いズボンを履いています。
Kanojo wa shiroi zubon o haite imasu.
She wears white pants.
- 赤い akai red
赤いバラは最高ではありませんか？
Akai bara wa saikō de wa arimasen ka?
Aren't red roses the best?
- 青 ao blue
青は一番好きな色ですか？
Ao wa ichiban suki na iro desu ka?
Is blue your favourite color?
- 緑 midori green

- ピンク pinku pink
ピンクの花が見えます。
pinku no hana ga miemasu.
I see a pink flower.
- 紫 murasaki purple
紫の花が見えます。
murasaki no hana ga miemasu.
I see a purple flower.
- 茶色い chairoi brown
茶色い犬が見えます。
chairoi inu ga miemasu.
I see a brown dog.
- 灰色 haiiro gray
その猫は灰色です。
Sono neko wa haiiro desu.
The cat is gray.
- 金色の kin golden
指輪は金色です。
Yubiwa wa kin'iro desu.
The ring is golden.
- 銀色 gin'iro silver
車は銀色です。
Kuruma wa gin'iro desu.
The car is silver.
- ベージュ bēju beige
彼女はベージュのシャツを着ています。
kanojo wa bēju no shatsu o kite imasu
She wears a beige shirt.
- 濃紺の kaigun navy
彼のジャケットは濃紺です。
Kare no jaketto wa nōkon desu.
His jacket is navy.
- 眩しい mabushii bright
太陽がとても眩しいです。
taiyō ga totemo mabushii desu.
The sun is very bright.
- 青白い aojiroi pale
病気の子どもは顔色が青白い。
Byōki no kodomo wa kaoiro ga aojiroi.
The sick child is pale.
- 暗い kurai dark
その部屋はとても暗いです。
sono heya wa totemo kurai desu.
The room is very dark.
- しま模様の shimamoyō no striped
彼はしま模様のシャツを着ています。
kare wa shimamoyō no shatsu o kite imasu.
He wears a striped shirt.
