  الاِثْنَيْن al-ithnayn Monday

  الاِثْنَيْن هو اليوم الأول.

  al-ithnayn huwa al-yawm al-awwal.

  Monday is the first day.

• 
  الثُّلَاثَاء ath-thulāthā’ Tuesday

  الثلاثاء ممتع دائماً.

  ath-thulāthā' mumtiʿ dā'iman.

  Tuesday is always fun.

• 
  الأَرْبِعَاء al-arbi'ā' Wednesday

  تَذْهَبُ إلى البيت يوم الأربعاء.

  tadhhabu ilā l-bayt yawm al-arbiʿā'.

  She goes home Wednesday.

• 
  الخَمِيس al-khamīs Thursday

  يأتي يوم الخميس.

  ya'tī yawma al-khamīs.

  He comes on Thursday.

• 
  الجُمُعَة al-jumuʿah Friday

  يوم الجمعة هو أفضل يوم.

  yawm al-jumʿa huwa afḍal yawm.

  Friday is the best day.

• 
  السَّبْت as-sabt Saturday

  أغادر يوم السبت.

  ughadiru yawma as-sabt.

  I leave on Saturday.

• 
  الأَحَد al-aḥad Sunday

  سأرتاح يوم الأحد.

  sa-artāḥu yawma l-aḥad.

  I will rest on Sunday.

  يَوْمُ عَمَل yawm 'amal weekday

  تَعْمَلُ صباح كل يوم عمل.

  Taʿmalu ṣabāḥa kulli yawmi ʿamal.

  She works every weekday morning.

  عُطْلَةُ نِهَايَةِ الأُسْبُوع ʿutlat nihāyat al-usbūʿ weekend

  مَنْ لَا يُحِبُّ عُطْلَةَ نِهَايَةِ الأُسْبُوعِ؟

  Man lā yuḥibbu ʿuṭlata nihāyati l-usbūʿ?

  Who does not like the weekend?

  يَوْمِيّ yawmiyy daily

  نقرأ الجريدة يومياً.

  Naqra'u al-jareedata yawmiyyan.

  We read the newspaper daily .

  أُسْبُوعِيّاً usbūʿiyyan weekly

  عادةً ما أشاهد الأخبار أسبوعياً.

  ʿaadatan maa ushaahid al-akhbaar usbuuʿiyyan.

  I usually watch the news weekly.

• 
  شَهْرِيّ shahriyy monthly

  يدفعون السعر الشهري.

  yadfaʿūn as-siʿr ash-shahriyy.

  They pay the monthly price.
