yantaẓirūna fī maḥaṭṭat al-qiṭār.
They wait at the train station.
- مَوْقِفُ حَافِلَات mawqif ḥāfilāt bus stop
موقف الحافلات قريب.
mawqif al-ḥāfilāt qarīb.
The bus stop is nearby.
- مَحَطَّةُ مِتْرُو maḥaṭṭat mitrū subway station
محطة المترو هذه مزدحمة جداً.

nashtarī aṭ-ṭaʿāma min as-sūbar mārkit.

هم يُحِبُّون ذلك المطعم كثيراً.
Hum yuḥibbūna dhālika l-maṭʿam kathīran.

تعمل جين في المقهى.
Ta'mal Jane fi al-maqha.
Jane works at the café.
- مُنْتَزَه muntazah park
تحب المنتزه الأخضر.

- دُوَّار duwwār roundabout
هذا الدوار يسهل حركة المرور.
hādhā ad-dawwār yusahhil ḥarakat al-murūr.
This roundabout helps the traffic.
- مُفْتَرَق muftaraq crossroads
توقفنا عند مفترق الطرق.
Tawaqqafnā ʿinda muftaraq aṭ-ṭuruq.
We stopped at the crossroads.
- جِسْر jisr bridge
يمشي الناس عبر الجسر.
yamshī an-nās ʿabra al-jisr.
People walk across the bridge.
- نَفَق nafaq tunnel
تسير السيارة عبر نفق.
tasīru as-sayyāratu ʿabra nafaq.
The car drives through a tunnel.
- إِشَارَةُ قِف ishāratu qif stop sign
يجب عليك احترام إشارة قف.
yajibu ʿalayka iḥtirām ishārat qif.
You need to respect the stop sign.
